Holy Moly!!!

Well, there are many happenings in the Wilson household! I am promising myself one night a week or so to try to blog. We got back from vacation today. We spent two whole weeks at the Jersey Shore in Seaside Park and the kids had a wonderful time and we did too!!! The weather was beautiful and we had many visitors. Once I get the pictures uploaded, I will post them! We were very busy the entire time, but it was wonderful!

Danny is growing like a weed and is now looking forward to Kindergarten. He begins on September 3rd. He is ready and excited. Mommy and Daddy are excited (but nervous) too!!! My neighbor shared with me today that he is looking like a school age boy now and not a little boy...where does the time go???

Nicholas is doing great! He is talking unbelievably! I don't know where it came from all of a sudden. He is a little parrot. Whatever Danny does, Nicky has to do too! He loves the water! He would go down as soon as we got to the beach and there were times we just took turns standing with him! I love watching them grow up!

Like I said, as soon as we get the hundreds of pictures uploaded, I will share them! It will be easier to tell about our vacation using pictures!

Wow!

Well, I thought I would keep up with this much better than I have been. So much has happened since I last posted (6 months ago)! Danny loved Christmas and Easter as did Nicholas. Danny is now looking forward to his birthday and has memorized all birthdays in his family. Since we celebrated Uncle Mike's birthday last weekend, he thinks his is next. He can't decide if he wants Spiderman or Cars. He keeps saying that his cousin Evan had Cars and so he can't have it too! How cute! He is getting so big and he is looking forward to preschool in September.

Nicholas is unbelieveable. He is almost 18 months old already!!! He is walking all over the place and he loves to color on his brother's easel. He loves attention and when you start laughing, he will join in just like he understands what you are talking about! He looks up to Danny so much and absolutely adores everything about him! He is growing like a weed, but still is very picky. He eats yogurt, pancakes, waffles, cheerios, chicken nuggets and lots and lots of fruit. Still very picky, it is unbelieveable.

Both boys are looking forward to Mommy being home in the summer. Two weeks from today, we will be home together for the summer. We will go down the shore for two weeks in August and hopefully take a trip to the zoo, Sesame Place and the aquarium. Danny is looking forward to Mommy being home.

On Sunday, May 27th, Danny went to Great Adventure with his Daddy to see the Wiggles in concert. Mommy stayed home with a sick Nicky. Poor Nicky had an ear infection with a horrible cough. Danny had a good time at the park, but unfortunately it was sooooo hot, he fell asleep at the concert. Hopefully, he will get to see them soon again. He has seen them before, but he is getting older, so I don't know how much longer it will interest him! He also went to his first professional baseball game and go figure, it poured in the third inning!

We have been very busy. The boys had a rough winter/spring because they took turns being sick through March, April and even into May. We had ear infections, roseola, strep throat, and more ear infections. Poor boys! They are real troopers. The pharmaceutical companies stocks went up because of the Wilsons!

Hope everyone is doing well!

I Feel Like A Kid Again

I am like a kid so excited for Christmas this year!!! I am soooo looking forward to Danny's reaction on Christmas Day. All he keeps talking about is Christmas, Santa and Rudolph. On his way home from Stacy's (the babysitter), he started singing "Jingle Bells". He made me laugh and laugh and laugh! He was sooo cute about it. I know he didn't hear it from me, so I am sure that Stacy is trying to teach them some Christmas Carols! He even sat with Nicholas on Santa's lap this year. Although he looked like he had much better things to do! Danny will be a great time this year.

We are also looking forward to the much anticipated celebration of Nicholas's 1st birthday...one already??? I can't believe how the time flew. I was soooo uncomfortable this time last year, with a lot of my Christmas shopping done...and this year, well this year, I have nothing for Christmas, yet. Oh well. I will get it soon, I guess! It's getting late and I am exhausted (I just had a bout with strep throat!) I hope that this post gets you all excited for the holiday season. This holiday season has so much more to bring. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I finally did it!

Welcome to the Wilson Family Blog! We will be posting updates about us and our two wonderful boys, Danny and Nicholas. Danny is 3, and his birthday is July 9th. Nicholas is 11 months and his birthday is December 16th. Being a parent has been a more than wonderful experience. Danny is just being potty trained and Nicholas is soon going to be walking. Watching them grow up is amazing. Keith and I welcome you to enjoy this wonderful experience of watching our children grow up with us!
